Day 1
Meet at 12 noon for introduction, a light lunch and details of itinerary.

Following a good lunch, we will meet with the dynamic cheesemonger Seamus Sheridan who will take us with him to source the best food to be had in Galway. That night he will open his wine bar and cook a special private dinner for us. Between sourcing and eating dinner, we will meet the makers of the most imaginative, sublime chocolate in the world who will not only explain their techniques, but give us a hands on chocolate making lesson. We will have a wine tasting before dinner and finish our meal with a selection of wonderful cheeses.

Day 2
After a relaxing night and a fabulous breakfast, we will visit the bustling Galway market before heading west for Connemara and those beautiful hills, sea shores and lakes where we will forage and fish. En route we will make one or two stops to introduce you to some innovative butchers and producers.

In Clifden, the capital of Connemara, the Quay House has been restored with sensitivity and imagination and the welcome, comfort, location and fun makes it a terrific place to stay. That evening, dinner will be hosted in a private dining room opened just for us and cooked by one of the best chefs in the west of Ireland.

Day 3
Our special breakfast with freshly baked bread, fresh fruits and yogurts, good bacon and some of McGough's sausages will set you up for a morning's foraging (if it is fine) or visiting a smokehouse before setting off to Galway and a good lunch to send you on your way with your taste buds tingling.

A private coach will cover all transport around the area to producers, tastings, dinners and lunches.
Price includes breakfasts (2), lunches (3) and dinners (2), accommodation, all transport, tours and guiding fees. All inclusive 3 day weekend.
